Very interesting topics. Presents algorithms to automatically formulate MBS equations of motion through symbolic computations. However, it's unclear wether these algorithms do work properly as there are no detailed examples with clearly expressed equations for even simple problems. Since the symbolic methods and codes are not provided, it makes it extremely tough to implement and check anything.
The main problem with the book, however, is the english style of the authors which looks like a direct translation from french and makes it sometimes very tough and even disgusting to read.
The other drawback is that a very large part of the book contains the user guide of the Robotran program (which generates the motion equations) without bringing any particular insights to the reader in understanding the main issues, while the Robotran program itself is not provided.
Anyway, I am quite sure that future editions of the book will make it an outstanding one. Given the very high price of the book, I only hope free "upgrades" of the book will be available for those who paid that price.
Globally speaking, I liked the book.
