(More customer reviews)"Supervisory Control of Concurrent Systems" is a very good reference book when you are working with supervisory control, hybrid o discrete control systems, this book, do not answer everything you want to know during an application, but is very useful to give you a direction in your research. Actually, I used it to give a way of my Engineering MsC research. I think that the use of Petri nets is very adecuate to the actual trend in this approach, but you can use any other technique.
