(More customer reviews)This is a great book if you were a DBA and trying to find out what the upgrades were since 7.3. I would not consider this a reference book, but a good refresher. If a novice were to pick it up, he still would have no idea what objects are, or how to normalize the data. What I didn't like was the Ph.D. bashing, there was no need for that. the writer should have stayed on a positive note. The commentary belongs in a commentary.
