(More customer reviews)Mahler's book is an outstanding effort to lay down a unified framework for data and information fusion. Admittedly it is a difficult book, very comprehensive, probably too applied for mathematicians and too mathematical for engineers. But it contains a very well thought out and technical vision of what it takes to process vast amounts of data, especially data of disparate types, and extract useful and correct information. Written by someone who has worked in the field for many years, I believe this book is a guide to the future of data and information fusion.
