(More customer reviews)In preparation to take the Professional Engineeringexamination, I stumbled across this book. As I paged through it, Ifelt comfortable that the author was an expert in the material, and communicated to me in the method I prefer--clear diagrams, drawings, equations, and crisp text. The use of modelling showed me a new way to understand and apply basic engineering principles. I finally had a competent mentor for applying engineering principles to real life. My only wish is that the author write more books on applied engineering!
